Nottingham MRS Autumn Show Diary Details
Saturday & Sunday 16th and Sunday 17th November [Note: not as originally advertised]
We are proud to announce that our Autumn 2024 show takes us back to the Richard Herrod Centre in Carlton, Nottingham, after our successful show in Autumn 2023. As usual, our club sales stand will be in attendance.

Adults £7. Card payments are available. Major debit cards (Mastercard/Visa) accepted.
Accompanied under 16s FREE.
Free parking in the road. Please note that parking in the Richard Herrod Centre will be very limited, due to construction work being done on sight.

Rob Law/Skog Carriage and Wagon Works – 3D printing – Rob will be demonstrating how he makes O gauge wagons
Anoraks Anonymous – Specialists in pre-owned stock, at bargain prices
Booklaw Publications – A wide range of books from Nottingham’s local railway publisher
Buggleskelly Station – Tom Marshall, Professional Model Maker
Sherwood Models – Nottingham’s only model shop, with a wide variety of models
TTC Diecast – formerly Loughborough Model Centre, TTC stock a wide variety of rolling stock from all the major manufacturers, and a varied range of discounted model products
NMRS Club Secondhand Sales – NMRS club members’ surplus items and more, all offered for sale as seen – grab yourself a bargain!
Public transport:
By bus – Nottingham City Transport 39 from Queen Street Nottingham goes to Foxhill Road Central, from which the Richard Herrod Centre is a two-minute walk.
Alternatively, NCT 27 from Queen Street Nottingham goes to Belper Avenue, from which the Richard Herrod Centre is a six-minute walk; this is a quicker journey, but involves more walking. (Even quicker is to take NCT 25, 26 or 27 to Hooton Road, for a ten-minute walk.)
By train – Nearest station is Carlton (1.07 miles), served by East Midlands Railway
Other close stations: Netherfield [1.19 miles] Nottingham [2.44 miles] Burton Joyce [2.69 miles]
This area of Nottingham is not served by tram.
By car – Take the M1, leave at Junction 24, take the A453 (Remembrance Way/Clifton Lane/Queens Drive) through Nottingham, then right turn onto Waterways Street West, stay on this when it becomes Sheriffs Way, right onto Queen’s Road, left onto the A60 (London Road), right onto the A612, follow it left, right onto the B686, then in Carlton Hill, left into First Avenue, then left into Foxhill Road Central.
