THE EXHIBITION PAGES

This year's NOTTINGHAM exhibition was again a huge success, with attendances holding up well, despite it being the start of the school Easter holidays. Visitors travelled from all over the country, and from even further afield too, including some from Los Angeles (you know, the one in the USA !). They were wowed with stunning, and sometimes spectacular, layouts; apparently, it was dubbed by some as the 'Big Layout Show'. There were how-to-do-it demonstrations and a whole host of specialist suppliers and manufacturers, plus all the main specialist scale and guage societies were are hand to show how they could help modellers.

A major attraction was the major book launch by Book Law Publications, who released no less than seven new titles at the event. Watch out for the new titles planned to be released at next year's show !

COMPETITIONS: Being a major show, we have a number of modelling competitions judged during the show. The exceptional standard of modelling was recognised by the award of an array of trophies. Details of this last year's competition winners can be viewed HERE.
